These are the Participation Rules for Another Eden Summer Illustration Contest.

Requirements

  • The person who participates in the Contest (Referred to as "the Participant" below) must be 13 years or older at the time of the start of the participation.
    *Residents of the EEA, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Korea must be 16 years or older.
  • Minors must receive permission from a guardian who is of legal adult age.
    *Permission is considered to be given at the moment of submission.
  • For individuals residing in Participating Countries/Regions, excluding the Simplified Chinese version service area, please confirm and agree to these Participation Rules. Individuals able to participate are restricted by set rules from the Company.

*Employees of the Company as well as related individuals and family members may not participate. If such a submission is identified, the submission, selection, and participation will be nullified.

*For the Participants who are affiliated with a publisher, illustration company, school, or other organization, please confirm with the organization before submitting any pieces.

*One of the following personal accounts maintained by the Participant is required.

*In order to comply with local legislation, the following countries are not eligible: Brazil, Italy, Thailand

*The Simplified Chinese version service area is not eligible.

How to Participate

  • Post the Participant's newly created illustration related to the Another Eden and Summer to apply for the Contest.
  • Follow (join) one of the following official social media accounts of the language bloc that corresponds to the Participant's country/region of residence and apply via the instructed method.

  • Japan:

      • X (Twitter): Post your piece with the hashtag #アナデンサマーイラコン

  • South Korea:

      • Naver cafe: Post your piece on the Contest's forum

  • Traditional Chinese Language Bloc:

      • Facebook: Post your piece in the form of a comment on the Contest post with the hashtag #時空貓夏日繪畫創作大賽

  • English Language Bloc:

    • X (Twitter): Post your piece with the hashtag #AnotherEdenSummerMythos
    • Facebook: Post your piece in the form of a comment on the Contest post with the hashtag #AnotherEdenSummer

*If the Participant has already followed (joined) the relevant social media account of the Game, the Participant only needs to post the illustration with the hashtag to complete the submission.

*Be advised that if the above hashtag is not included, the piece will become ineligible for selection.

*Be advised that if the Participant has not followed (joined) the official account of the Game by the end of the submission period, the piece will be ineligible for selection.

*Be advised that if the Participant has unfollowed (left) the relevant social media account of the Game or has removed the piece at the time of the selection of the winners, the piece will become ineligible for selection.

*The Participant is able to submit multiple pieces. However, the Participant may not submit the same piece multiple times.

*The Participant may not put multiple pieces in one post. If the Participant intends on submitting multiple pieces, please separate each piece into individual entries.

*Even if the Participant submits more than one piece, the Participant cannot win more than once.

*Pieces must be submitted to the language bloc corresponding to the country/region that the Participant resides in.

Illustration Requirements

Only illustrations that are related to Another Eden and summer will be considered.

*Only those that meet the "Rules for Use of In-Game Content" below will be accepted. Pieces that are the property of a third party other than the Participant are not eligible for submission.

*Regarding illustrations that use AI-generated materials partially or entirely, there is no established method for handling such pieces at the current time. After considering the various problems, sentiments that you may be concerned about, and legal restrictions, those pieces are not eligible for the Contest so that everyone can enjoy their creations with peace of mind.

Rules for Use of In-Game Content

  • Regarding in-game screenshots or in-game assets

      • Using in-game visuals as a background of the illustration (Please do not alter the in-game visuals in your submission)

      • Submitting in-game assets, screenshots, or visuals as-is as an entry
      • Tracing in-game elements and submitting them as an entry

  • Symphony Characters

    • Entries that include characters from Symphonies (including but not limited to Persona 5 Royal, The Tales of Series, Chrono Cross, Octopath Traveler, The King of Fighters Series), and Atelier Ryza are not considered.

Agreement upon Submission

  • Participation in this contest is considered an agreement to these Participation Rules of the Contest.
  • The submitted piece must be created by the Participant.
  • Pieces that have already been submitted to previous contests held for the Japan and Global Version of the Game will not be eligible for the selection.
  • If the social media account submitting the piece is set to private, the piece will not be eligible for selection.
  • Pieces submitted from non-searchable social media accounts may not be eligible for selection.
  • Posts without the designated hashtag will not be considered.
  • Pieces submitted outside of the submission period will not be eligible for selection.
  • The Participant agrees in advance that the user name and display name of the relevant social media account used from the time of submission to the time of the announcement of the winners may be posted and introduced along with the submitted piece on the official social media accounts and in-game of the Game, as well as on the website and at events operated by the Company.
  • In the case of actions deemed by the Company to be in violation of these Participation Rules, the Participant at fault relinquishes all rights to participate in the Contest and to be awarded.
  • The Contest is subject to cancellation or change without notice.
  • The Participant is responsible for compensating the Company or any third party for any damage caused by the submission to the Contest.
  • Please note that only winners will be notified of the award results, and unsuccessful participants will not be notified.
  • Fees from Internet access and data usage accrued for the purposes of the Contest are the responsibility of the Participant.

In Regards to the Rights for Submitted Data

  • All rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, and portrait rights, to the data, compositions, and other information submitted through the Contest ("the Submitted Information") belong to the Company hosting the Contest and to the rightful owners.
  • The Participant confirms and guarantees that the Submitted Information is created by the Participant, does not infringe on any copyright, patent, portrait right or any other right of any third party, and is legal.
  • The Participant (including the winner) grants the Company and third parties designated by the Company a non-exclusive license to use without compensation the Submitted Information for the purpose and period listed below. The licensed rights granted to the Company include the rights set forth in Article 27 and 28 of the Japanese Copyright Law as well as the rights to create derivative pieces, regardless of whether by adaptation, modification, or any other method, as provided under the copyright laws of each country or group of countries or regions to which the Participant belongs.
    • [Purpose] Providing notifications involving the general carrying out of the Contest, such as announcing, awarding, and reporting; and publishing and distributing on websites, social media sites, books and other media operated by the Company; and use in advertisements placed by the Company
    • [Period] From the time of submission of the piece to the time the Game ends its operations.
  • Any profit made by the Company from the use of the award winning pieces will be the Company's profit.
  • The Submitted Information that uses other people's copyrighted materials without permission will not be eligible for submission.
    *Use of other people's copyrighted data requires the permission of the rights holder. Permission is considered to be given at the moment of submission.
  • In the event that a copyright claim or any claim for damages is asserted by a third party in relation to the Submitted information, the participant shall be held liable for resolving any and all such claims at its own responsibility and costs, and the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever for any loss or damages resulting from such claims.

Prohibited Items for Submission

Please do not submit to the Contest any pieces described below. If it is deemed that any submission is similar to the items listed below, the Company will delete the submission in question without notification and remove the Participant from the selection process.

  • Items that violate the law, or that aid, induce, coerce, or encourage such violations.
  • Items that break the terms and conditions of each social media service.
  • Items that interfere with the operation of the Contest.
  • Items that interfere with other Participants' submissions.
  • Items that violate the honor, social credibility, privacy, portrait rights, publicity rights, copyrights, other intellectual property rights, or other rights of others (including those stipulated by law and those recognized by judicial precedents).
  • Items for the purpose of making profit for oneself or a third party, and any action for the purpose of preparing for such a profit.
  • Slander, threats, or harassment of a third party
  • Discrimination, or expressions related to ethnicity, religion, race, gender, age, etc. that lead to discrimination.
  • Items that associate, solicit, induce, or encourage suicide, self-harm, illegal drug use, or other crimes.
  • Sexual, obscene, or violent expressions, or other items that cause excessive discomfort.
  • Impersonation by using another person's name or the name of a company or other organization.
  • Pre-election campaigning, election campaigning, or similar activities, as well as activities that violate the Public Offices Election Law.
  • Items that go against or threaten social standards or public morals.
  • Other items that the Company judges to be inappropriate.

*Selections will be made from among all submissions, including both Global and Japan Versions.

How to Collect Rewards

  • After the selection, the winners will be announced around September 2025. The winners will be contacted via direct message before the announcement. The direct message includes a Google Form to input required personal information, confirmation of the winner, and information delivery deadline. Please input the necessary personal information in the Google Form to receive the rewards.
  • In the case that the direct message from the official social media account is unable to be delivered, or the personal information is not delivered by the deadline stated in the direct message, the selection will become nullified.

*Please make sure that you can receive direct messages from each official social media account.

*Be advised that if the Participant unfollows the social media account of the Game or removes the submission before the prizes are shipped, the selection will become nullified. The selection will also be nullified if the input information is incomplete, or if the prizes cannot be delivered due to an unknown shipping address/relocation or long-term absence of the recipient.

*In the case of unforeseen circumstances, the delivery time of the reward is subject to change.

*The winner will be responsible for payment of any customs duties.

Caution

  • The company does not bear responsibility for the use of the Contest website, stoppage in site use, or damage due to misuse. (Includes server troubles for web services, social media, and so on)
  • Selection rights are retained by the participant. Those rights cannot be transferred, exchanged for money, or exchanged for another prize. Resale of the prize on online marketplaces or by other means is prohibited.
  • Even if the reception of the reward is disrupted, unless the cause of the disruption comes from an error in the Company, the Company bears no responsibility for the disruption.
  • Some of the pieces may contain spoilers. Please be aware of this when you see any posts that include the designated hashtags if you are playing the Game or planning to do so.

Handling of Private Information

Please read and agree to the Privacy Policy regarding the handling of personal information provided in the Contest before submitting your entry.

Inquiries Regarding the Contest

For inquiries regarding the Contest, please submit a comment to the Contest's posts on the official social media of the Game.

*We cannot answer inquiries related to the selection method, progress, or results of the Contest.

*We cannot answer inquiries related to incidents or damage etc. upon reward shipment.

*The winner will be contacted directly in cases where there are reward-related precautions or disclaimers.

Rules Concerning Dispute Resolution

Regardless of the participation rules of the Contest as stated above, the laws of Japan will be followed. Differences in opinions, controversies, and disputes originating in the participation rules will be handled by the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association where a resolution will be reached. The mediation location will be Tokyo, Japan. The mediation will be conducted in English.
