Requirements

  • The person who participates in the Contest (Referred to as "the Participant" below) must be 13 years or older as of February 18, 2025.

　　　*Residents of the EEA, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, and Korea must be 16 years or older.

  • Minors must receive permission from a guardian who is of legal adult age.

　　　*Permission is considered to be given at the moment of submission.

  • For individuals residing in Participating Countries/Regions, excluding the Simplified Chinese version service area, please confirm and agree to these Participation Rules. Individuals able to participate are restricted by set rules from the Company.

*Employees of the Company as well as related individuals and family members may not participate. If such a submission is identified, the submission, selection, and participation will be nullified.

*For the Participants who are affiliated with a publisher, illustration company, school, or other organization, please confirm with the organization before submitting any pieces.

Participating Countries/Regions

  • Japan
  • South Korea
  • Traditional Chinese Language Bloc: Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau
  • English Language Bloc: Countries and regions other than the above where the App can be played

*In order to comply with local legislation, the following countries are not eligible: Brazil, Italy, Thailand

*The Simplified Chinese version service area is not eligible.

How to Participate

Post the Participant's newly created piece related to the App to apply for the Contest.

Method 1: Follow (join) one of the following official social media accounts of the language bloc that corresponds to your country/region of residence and apply via the instructed method.

English Language Bloc:

  • X (Twitter): Post your piece with the hashtag #AEArtContest2025
  • Facebook: Post your piece in the form of a comment on the Contest post with the hashtag #AEArtContest2025

Traditional Chinese Language Bloc:

  • Facebook: Post your piece in the form of a comment on the Contest post with the hashtag #AnotherEden創意大賽2025

South Korea:

  • Naver cafe: Post your piece on the Contest's forum

Japan:

  • X (Twitter): Post your piece with the hashtag #第6回アナデンアートコンテスト

Method 2: Participate with posts to other social media platforms via the entry form.

  • Use the #AEArtContest2025 hashtag on Instagram or other social media platforms.
  • After posting, enter the Participant's information via the form provided on the Contest site.

*Be advised that if the above hashtag is not included, the piece will become ineligible for selection.

*The Participant is able to submit multiple pieces. However, the Participant may not submit the same piece multiple times.

*The Participant may not put multiple pieces in one post. If the Participant intends on submitting multiple pieces, please separate each piece into individual entries.

*Even if the Participant submits more than one piece, the Participant cannot win more than once.

*Social media accounts and posts must be set to "public" to participate in the Contest.

*Entries will be nullified if the social media platform requires login in order to view the entry.

*Pieces must be submitted to the language bloc corresponding to the country/region that the Participant resides in.

*When submitting using the method 1,

  • If the Participant has already followed (joined) the relevant social media account of the App, the Participant only needs to post the cat design with the hashtag to complete the submission.
  • If the Participant has not followed (joined) the official account of the App by the end of the submission period, the piece will be ineligible for selection.
  • If the Participant has unfollowed (left) the relevant social media account of the App or has removed the piece at the time of the selection of the winners, the piece will become ineligible for selection.

Contacting Potential Winners

Potential winners will be contacted via social media direct message or the contact information provided on the entry form after the end of the contest submission period. At that time, the Company will request an image of the work in progress in order to confirm that it was created by the potential winners themselves. If the Company is unable to confirm the image of the work in progress by the deadline set by the Company, the award will be nullified. Please be prepared to submit the image of the work in progress in advance.

Examples of images of the work in progress

  • Scenario work: rough draft of the idea, photos of the plot
  • Audio work: editing screen of audio software
  • Choral works: music scores, photos of rehearsal scenes
  • Illustration work: photos of sketches, editing screen of software

*Images of work in progress will not be published.

*Additional images may be requested.

Examples of Pieces

  • Texts (novels, poems, etc.)　
  • Images (illustrations, photos of handicrafts such as origami, clay, plush toys and dolls, costumes, etc.)　
  • Videos (videos, animations, etc. that the Participant has filmed)
  • Audio/music files (singing, performances, etc.)　

*For images, videos, and audio/music files, only those that meet the "Rules for Use of In-Game Content" below will be accepted.

*Pieces that are the property of a third party other than the Participant are not eligible for submission.

*As there is still a great deal of uncertainty regarding the current state of AI, after carefully considering the various concerns, as well as emotional and legal limitations, we have concluded that materials (images, video, text, voice, etc.) generated partially or entirely with AI will not be accepted at this time.

Rules for Use of In-Game Content

Regarding the Another Eden logo data provided for the Contest

  • Do not alter the data in any way.
  • You are free to use this logo only in pieces being submitted to the Contest. Use in other works not related to the Contest is prohibited.

Regarding in-game screenshots or in-game assets

[Acceptable Use]

  • Using in-game visuals as a background in a video or audio submission. (Please do not alter the in-game visuals in your submission)

[Prohibited Use]

  • Submitting in-game assets, screenshots, or visuals as-is as an entry.
  • Tracing in-game elements and submitting them as an entry.

Entries using BGM (the music in the App and the music included in the separately marketed Another Eden Original Soundtrack, Referred to as "the BGM" below)

[Acceptable Use]

  • Performing the BGM, or singing the BGM.
  • An original arrangement of the BGM played by the Participant.
  • If the Participant submits an original animation or video, using the BGM from Another Eden soundtracks the Participant owns.

[Prohibited Use]

  • Submitting the BGM as-is as an entry.
  • Altering the BGM's original data and Submitting the altered BGM as an entry.
  • Submitting a piece that uses music that belongs to a third party, other than the BGM.

Symphony Characters

  • Entries that use characters from Symphonies (including but not limited to Persona 5 Royal, The Tales of Series, Chrono Cross, Octopath Traveler, The King of Fighters Series, Atelier Ryza Series, etc.) or songs that reference Symphony-related music cannot be submitted.

Agreement upon Submission

  • Participation in this contest is considered an agreement to these Participation Rules of the Contest.
  • The submitted piece must be created by the Participant.
  • Pieces that have already been submitted to previous contests held for the Japan and Global Version of the App will not be eligible for the selection.
  • If the social media account submitting the piece is set to private, the piece will not be eligible for selection.
  • Pieces submitted from non-searchable social media accounts may not be eligible for selection.
  • Posts without the hashtag #AEArtContest2025, #AnotherEden創意大賽2025, or #第6回アナデンアートコンテスト will not be eligible for selection.
  • Pieces submitted outside of the submission period will not be eligible for selection.
  • The Participant agrees in advance that the user name and display name of the relevant social media account used from the time of submission to the time of the announcement of the winners may be posted and introduced along with the submitted piece on the official social media accounts and in-game of the App, as well as on the website and at events operated by the Company.
  • In the case of actions deemed by the Company to be in violation of these Participation Rules, the Participant at fault relinquishes all rights to participate in the Contest and to be awarded.
  • The Contest is subject to cancellation or change without notice.
  • The Participant is responsible for compensating the Company or any third party for any damage caused by the submission to the Contest.
  • Please note that only winners will be notified of the award results, and unsuccessful participants will not be notified.
  • Fees from Internet access and data usage accrued for the purposes of the Contest are the responsibility of the Participant.

In Regards to the Rights for Submitted Data

  • All rights, including copyrights, trademark rights, and portrait rights to the illustrations, pieces, compositions, and other information submitted through the Contest ("the Submitted Information") belong to the Company hosting the Contest and to the rightful owners.
  • The Participant confirms and guarantees that the Submitted Information is created by the Participant and all copyrights to the Submitted Information are retained by the Participant.
  • The Participant confirms and guarantees that the Submitted Information, upon its creation, based on the copyrighted works of the Company, does not contain the rights of a third party excluding the rights of the original author owned by the Company.
  • The Participant (including the winner) grants the Company and third parties designated by the Company a non-exclusive license to use without compensation the Submitted Information for the purpose and period listed below. The licensed rights granted to the Company include the rights set forth in Article 27 and 28 of the Japanese Copyright Law as well as the rights to create derivative pieces, regardless of whether by adaptation, modification, or any other method, as provided under the copyright laws of each country or group of countries or regions to which the Participant belongs.

[Purpose] Providing notifications involving the general carrying out of the Contest, such as announcing, awarding, and reporting; and publishing and distributing on websites, social media sites, books and other media operated by the Company; and use in advertisements placed by the Company

[Period] From the time of submission of the piece to the time the App ends its operations.

  • The Participant agrees not to exercise any moral rights of authorship or performers with respect to the Submitted Information towards the Company or any third party designated by the Company.
  • Any profit made by the Company from the use of the award winning pieces will be the Company's profit.
  • The Submitted Information that uses other people's copyrighted materials without permission will not be eligible for submission.

*Use of other people's copyrighted data requires the permission of the rights holder. Permission is considered to be given at the moment of submission.

*In the event that a copyright claim or any claim for damages is asserted by a third party in relation to the Submitted information, the participant shall be held liable for resolving any and all such claims at its own responsibility and costs, and the Company shall bear no liability whatsoever for any loss or damages resulting from such claims.

Prohibited Items for Submission

Please do not submit to the Contest any pieces described below. If it is deemed that any submission is similar to the items listed below, the Company will delete the submission in question without notification and remove the Participant from the selection process.

  • Items that go against or threaten social standards or public morals.
  • Items that break the law or are connected to unlawful actions.
  • Items that break the terms and conditions of each social media service.
  • Other items that the Company judges to be inappropriate.

*Selections will be made from among all submissions, including both Global and Japan Versions.

How to Collect Rewards

  • After the selection, the winners will be announced on the official livestream scheduled for April 2025, just before the Japan Version's 8th anniversary, and/or on the official social media accounts of the App. The winners will be contacted via social media direct messages or emails from another-eden.info@wfs.games to the address provided on the entry form within one week of the announcement. The message/email includes a Google Form to input required personal information, confirmation of the winner, and information delivery deadline. Please input the necessary personal information in the Google Form to receive the rewards.
  • In the case that the message/email from another-eden.info@wfs.games is unable to be delivered, or the personal information is not delivered by the deadline stated in the message/email, the selection will become nullified.

*Please make sure that you can receive direct messages from each official social media account of the App and emails from another-eden.info@wfs.games.

*Be advised that if the Participant unfollows the social media account of the App or removes the submission before the prizes are shipped, the selection will become nullified. The selection will also be nullified if the input information is incomplete, or if the prizes cannot be delivered due to an unknown shipping address/relocation or long-term absence of the recipient.

*In the case of unforeseen circumstances, the delivery time of the reward is subject to change.

*The winner will be responsible for payment of any customs duties.

Caution

  • The Company does not bear responsibility for the use of the Contest website, stoppage in site use, or damage due to misuse. (Includes server troubles for web services, Facebook, Twitter, and so on)
  • Selection rights are retained by the participant. Those rights cannot be transferred, exchanged for money, or exchanged for another prize. Resale of the prize on online marketplaces or by other means is prohibited.
  • Even if the reception of the reward is disrupted, unless the cause of the disruption comes from an error in the Company, the Company bears no responsibility for the disruption.
  • Some of the pieces may contain spoilers. Please be aware of this when you see any posts that include the hashtag #AEArtContest2025, #AnotherEden創意大賽2025, or #第6回アナデンアートコンテスト if you are playing the App or planning to do so.

Handling of Private Information

Inquiries Regarding the Contest

  • For inquiries regarding the Contest, please submit a comment to the Contest's posts on the official social media of the App.

*We cannot answer inquiries related to the selection method, progress, or results of the Contest.

*We cannot answer inquiries related to incidents or damage etc. upon reward shipment.

*The winner will be contacted directly in cases where there are reward-related precautions or disclaimers.

Rules Concerning Dispute Resolution

Regardless of the participation rules of the Contest as stated above, the laws of Japan will be followed. Differences in opinions, controversies, and disputes originating in the participation rules will be handled by the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association where a resolution will be reached. The mediation location will be Tokyo, Japan. The mediation will be conducted in English.
